Perge!

There's a wall, a wall, a turn and a wall
jump over the ditch, try not to fall.
A familiar smell is drawing me in,
while the large ones above are all cheek and grin.
It feels so wrong indulging in sin,
but there my prize sits, alone in a bin.
I move with speed and the pounce of a cat,
I attained my cheese; the victorious lab rat.

Regally Blonde

Thousands of people know differing pains,
but none alive have held the reigns.
to plead, seed, feed and bleed,
I alone must take the lead.
For I am the monarch, I am the king,
many come and kiss my ring.
But alas this can't revoke the sting,
of seeing my subjects suffering.
For I am the king and sure long may I reign,
but no one else will know my pain.

Don't Tread on Me

I've been tread on, thrown, tossed, and kicked,
selected, loved, prized and picked.
you can find me in any style, shape, color too.
Don't you mind me for I am the shoe.

Fear of a Helot

Bronze and bone, spear and flesh.
The glory in battle will keep you fresh!
We do not toil with the foil, but strike fear with the spear.
We'll draw you out, and flank the rear,
the sound of battle is all we hear!
For we are the Spartan, we are the hoplite,
Onward to hades, hope you welcomed the night.

A Whale of Ambition

To be a whale alone in the sea,
Ambition is halted by reality.
A ship, a boat, a dingy, a craft,
I'll write my ambition here on this draft.
A ship is what I'm meant to be!
Safe at harbor, free at sea!
And to this dream, a wish for me,
My glee won't die with reality.
I'm a whale alone in the sea,
but a ship is what I will be.
